My name is Mark. I have lived on the edge of Wales for 10 years and it has been my motorbike playground. I would like to share it with people who love biking, but maybe are unfamiliar with the fantastic roads and scenery in Wales, or people who enjoy biking in Wales as much as I do and just want a companion. I ride a BMW S1000XR.
Sorties start just off of the M5 at Worcester and I am happy to bimble along for 2 days enjoying the scenery (with luggage and a pub stopover), or an early morning start without luggage, breakfast on route and carve up the fantastic tarmac just for the day.
Group size will be small, often one to one, but no more than 4 so that we really ride together.
This is not a business. I am simply happy to share my knowledge of some of the greatest biking roads in Wales. We are just private individuals meeting up for a great trip out (paying for our own meals and accommodation).
My bikes and biking experience is varied with summers in the Alps and Pyrenees (as well as Wales, Scotland and the far South West of England) and winters in the mountains and on the coast of Southern Spain. In my youth I enjoyed off road riding on a Suzuki PE175. In the last decade I have owned, ridden and tracked Kawasaki Z1000SX, ZX10R, Ducati Multistrada, and all of the BMW S1000's (R, RR and XR). I have also enjoyed taking part in competitive motorsport, but this ended with COVID lockdowns.
